Who wrote Sonata Arctica's Nothing More?

Sonata Arctica song Nothing More is the Japanese bonus track of The Days of Grays album. Stylistically it sounds like it could have been on Reckoning Night with Wrecking the Sphere-esque choir intro, pumping rhythm guitars and delicate piano playing in the verses. There is confusion who wrote the song, especially whether Tony Kakko or Henrik Klingenberg wrote the lyrics.

Genius says the song is written by Henrik and Tony.[2] On old version of Sonata Arctica website have Tony Kakko in parenthesis like other lyrics indicating him as writer, but that could have been copy pasted from other songs.[3] In Sonata Arctica book it reads Henrik "composed the music".[4] The most reliable reference is maybe the The Days of Grays album page on the official Sonata Arctica where it says Nothing More is written by Henrik, apparently fully. [1]

To me the lyrics seem to use different words Tony tends to use which is an indicator Henrik wrote them. Lyrics have a line life has now dealt me the final card, a card game reference and Henrik liked to play poker in the 2000's. Musically there is a harpsichord break at 2:29 that sounds Henrik's style of writing to me.

I have nothing more to say. 😉
